• Common Name : Silverstreak Blue
• Scientific Name : Iraota timoleon (Stoll)
• Family : LYCAENIDAE
• Wingspan : 40-48mm
• Colour : Chocolate brown, wings are richly marked with glistering silver spots and lines.
• Habit : It flies among foliage of trees, specially of Banyan and other Ficus species, which is its larval food plant. Very fast flier, but seldom flies far.
• Larval Host Plants : Ficus benghalensis, F.religiosa, Fruits of Pomegranate.
• Location : Throughout West Bengal
